Vivlore

About Vivlore

A small team with a big purpose

Vivlore is built by people who believe the stories of those we love deserve to live on. Here is who makes it happen.

Our story

People lose their loved ones twice. Once when they die, and again when the stories fade. Vivlore exists to stop the second loss.

We are a digital tribute and biography platform where families preserve, organise, and share the life stories of the people who matter most. Free tributes give everyone a starting point. Paid biographies turn scattered memories into something lasting.

Vivlore is a product of Blockchain Security Ltd (Company No. 13371112), registered in England and Wales.

Meet the team

Nine people across four countries, one shared mission.

Andy Shah

Founder & Chief Overthinker

Youngest of seven siblings, married to an Amazonian princess (his words, but also true). Background in blockchain security, but after losing his mother he couldn't stop thinking about how many stories just vanish. So he built Vivlore. Thinks he can cook. He cannot. Nobody has the heart to tell him.

Rachel Sawyer

Head of Product & Professional Skeptic

Moved over from a health tech startup in Austin where she shipped three products in two years. She is the person who says "no" to most feature requests and "not yet" to the rest. Runs half marathons. Collects vintage cookbooks she never cooks from.

Lukas Brenner

Lead Systems Architect

Munich born, Zurich educated, and responsible for making sure your data never goes anywhere it shouldn't. Thinks a well designed API is a thing of beauty. His Black Forest cake is better than his classical guitar, which isn't saying much.

Elise Favreau

Lead Experience Designer

From Lyon. Worked on a palliative care app in Paris before this, so she knows what it means to design for people on the worst day of their lives. Paints watercolours. Will argue about whitespace until everyone else leaves the room.

Matteo Rossi

Head of Infrastructure & Uptime Worrier

Keeps the lights on. Literally. Came from a fintech in Milan where downtime meant actual money disappearing, so he takes infrastructure personally. Rides a Vespa that's older than most of the team. AC Milan season ticket holder since he was nine.

Henrik Dahl

Head of Security & Trust

Copenhagen. Cybersecurity consulting across Scandinavia for a decade before joining us. Takes GDPR personally. Brews his own beer, reads terms and conditions for fun, and once found a vulnerability during a job interview. He got the job.

Sofia Nilsson

Platform Reliability Lead

The reason the site is up right now. Ten years in telecom in Stockholm before she decided she wanted to work on something she actually cared about. Once opened champagne because uptime hit 99.99%. Nobody else understood why. Cross-country skier. Cat person.

Oliver Whitfield

Head of Brand & Content

Manchester. Journalism degree, spent four years doing content for a hospice charity, which is how he ended up here. Writes the words you read on this site. Plays five-a-side on Thursdays, badly. Makes a proper Sunday roast, which is his main personality trait.

Jan de Vries

Delivery & Release Lead

Amsterdam. Handles every release, every deploy, every 2am hotfix with the energy of someone who has already accepted his fate. Cycles everywhere because he's Dutch and that's just how it works. Vinyl collector. Always has coffee ready. Never panics.
